In a bizarre crossover event that breaks traditional expectations, the game developer has revealed an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Revealed
According to the official statement, "A strange meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of prohibited practices and terrifying transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine sect.
The adventure centers on "peculiar tests and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Transformations
The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the quest will acquire an unique katana together with numerous objects secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
